Adjunct Faculty Employment
Faculty who wish to teach for the ADCaP must possess, at a minimum, a Masters degree from an accredited university and 18 hours in the discipline in which you intend to teach. instructors for the Masters courses must possess a Doctorate or be terminally degreed.
Faculty are hired on a term to term basis. The ADCaP has six 8-week terms throughout the year, which means not all courses are offered each term.
Candidates applications are reviewed by the Dean of the School of Extended Studies and interviews are done as they are needed to fill positions. After being interviewed, qualified candidates are placed on a list of eligibility. This list is reviewed each round of hiring (usually 8 - 10 weeks prior to the beginning of a term) by the Center Directors.
For consideration, go to Human Resource Office and complete an application. Submit your application, a cover letter, resume and/or vitae, and transcripts from the school (s) in which you have earned your degrees to the ADCaP Adjunct Faculty ad. Candidates will not be interviewed until all three items are received.
