The University of the Incarnate Word extends a welcome invitation to all groups wanting to visit our campus. Before requesting a tour, please review our Policies and Procedures to learn more about the request process and limitations.



Group Tour Policies and Procedures

  • All groups must fill out a request form.
  • Group Visits are for groups 10 to 45 students. Groups of 45 students or more will require pre-approval from the Campus Visit Coordinator. Submission of request form DOES NOT guarantee a confirmation. However, we do our very best to accommodate all of our requests. 
  • We CANNOT accommodate more than 100 students per tour.
  • High School (grades 9th-12th) groups are given priority.
  • Groups must provide one chaperone per 10 Students.
  • Tours begin at 9:00am and 2:00pm, Monday – Friday. We can only accommodate two groups per day.
  • High School Groups (grades 9th-12th) may choose to participate in an Admissions Presentation, a Campus Tour, or both.
  • Middle and Elementary school groups are welcome for a Campus Tour. However, we are not able to give an Admissions Presentation at this time.
  • We require at least three-week advance notice for group visits to ensure proper accommodations.
  • We are unable to accommodate groups during the following times:
      • Spring Break – March 12th to March 16th, 2018
      • Good Friday – March 30th, 2018
      • Easter Monday - April 2nd, 2018
      • Fiesta Battle of Flowers April 27th, 2018
      • Friday – May 25th, 2018
      • Memorial Day – May 28th, 2018
      • Independence Day – July 4th, 2018

The Office of Admissions responds to requests on first-come, first-served basis. High-school aged groups are given priority. The UIW Office of Admissions is unable to facilitate group tours who do not submit a request at least three weeks prior to their intended visit date.
