A national champion in the first year! Men's swimming in 2007-2008 was the newcomer on the UIW block but the Cardinals made quite a splash in creating a new Cardinals record book, competing against top teams and sending two swimmers to the NCAA National Championships. YATSKO, REEVES GAIN ALL-AMERICAN HONORS Two members of the Incarnate Word men’s swimming team have garnered All-American honors based on their performances during the 2007-2008 schoolyear.

MCKAY GETS WEEKLY HONOR Incarnate Word’s Blake McKay was unbeaten for the week of October 6 to October 12 and those performances earned him the title of swimmer of the week for the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).
