Duties: Panelists will follow scripted questions and guidelines of duties child is to perform. Panel decisions will include: counseling, tutoring and training children will be required to follow; panel's decision is mandate from judge.

Position: JA volunteers use practical hands on activities (teaching kits provided) to teach students from K-12 grade how the business world operates and how it affects the students as family members, citizens and consumers.  Volunteers become role models to students, presenting important life concepts through their diverse outside perspectives.
Commitment:  Volunteers meet with students in their regular classrooms once a week, for 5 weeks, 30-45 minutes each visit (ELEMENTARY SCHOOL) or 8 weeks 45-60 minutes each visit (MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL).  These fun, hands-on activities provide a supplement to student's daily coursework through interactive teaching methods. 
Dates Available: During the school year and scheduled between the volunteer and the assigned teacher.
Requirements: 1-hour orientation/training and a background check conducted by the assigned school.

Position: Wildlife Caretaker
Commitment: At least one four hour shift every other week for a minimum of three months.
Training: The four hour Volunteer Initial Orientation is required.
Duties: During the fall and winter, the duties include day-to-day household cleaning chores, cleaning animal enclosures, preparing food, assisting the staff with medical care and feeding animals.
Spring and summer are the busiest months at WRR with 40 to 60 incoming animals per day, mostly orphaned mammals and birds. Feeding and cleaning orphaned animals as well as adults. Can be intense and physically demanding.

Position: Wildlife Transporter
Commitment: One evening every other week for a minimum of four months.
Training: The four hour Volunteer Initial Orientation is required.
Duties: Picking up the wild animals from the drop off point and transporting them to the Sanctuary.
Dates available: Monday thru Saturday beginning at 4pm and ending about 9pm.
