Do I have to pay for Cardinal Camp?
NO. Cardinal Camp is just another part of your orientation experience.
If I don’t have to pay, why do I need to register?
Registration is important so we can make the day fun for you! We
have to order your camp T-shirt, food, and make sure we have the right
accommodations for all our Cardinal Camp participants. Registration
ends August 19.
What happens after I register?
Make sure you move-in Wednesday so you can enjoy all the events on Thursday and Friday. Commuters: make plans to come to campus to pick up your parking permit and get ready for the fun! You will receive an e-mail in July with details for this great event!
Are my parents supposed to come to Cardinal Camp?
Cardinal Camp is for students only. This program is designed with
the students needs in mind in order to promote engagement in your university
environment.
What do I need to bring to Cardinal Camp?
- Comfortable clothes and shoes to survive the Texas summer heat (we will only be outside a limited amount of time)
- Cell phone to take down the phone numbers of your new friends (please keep your phone on vibrate or silent during the camp)
- Your class schedule (so we can show you where your classes will be held)
- And a Positive Attitude - Get excited!
