Matching Gifts at UIW
Many University of the Incarnate Word donors are employed by companies that encourage donations to higher education. Matching gift companies work with employees to offer additional funding to the specific UIW programs supported by their employees. Donors who wish to support The University of the Incarnate Word can provide more substantial support with the assistance of a matching gift company.
Companies that offer corporate matching contribute a significant part of the dollars raised for UIW’s annual giving programs by adding to an employee’s higher education gift.
Donors who wish to endow scholarships or other gifts can do so at a significantly lower cost with their employer’s assistance.

Many companies also match gifts made by retired employees. Corporations often have special qualifying processes for individuals who retired from their company, including different matching ratios. Contact your former employer for more information.
