Giving & Memorial Opportunities for Scholarships
At University of the Incarnate Word
Scholarships
are an investment in the economic growth of the community. To fulfill
its mission of service, UIW extends all possible support to students to
prepare them for the competitive, international marketplace.
At UIW, 75% of all students rely upon financial assistance to complete their education. Scholarships are an important part of an overall financial aid package that may include student loans, grants, and work-based funding. The majority of scholarships offered to UIW students are need-based, and students qualify by maintaining an acceptable grade point average. A select number of scholarships are based on merit, academic achievement, and abilities in fine arts or other academic areas of study. UIWs two greatest needs are scholarships for graduate students and for part-time undergraduate students.
