Living and Learning Communities (LLCs) are themed housing generally centered on a topic or major. Students who are part of the LLC typically have a common course and participate in programming more relevant to the community. Not only do students have an opportunity to work collaboratively with other like-minded peers, they also are able to utilize different resources not commonly found in our traditional residential facilities.
Living and Learning Communities come in a variety of different styles. At the University of the Incarnate Word, our LLCs are designed to incorporate the following elements in order to enhance the residential experience and academic success of our students:
There are no additional costs or fees to participate in a LLC. All costs are included in the room and board associated with living on campus.
Currently, we are offering the following Living and Learning Communities:
Brandon Wilkins--Graduate Area Coordinator for Residential Education (firstname.lastname@example.org)
J.R. Chiodo-Benmuvhar--Assistant Director of Residence Life (email@example.com)
