Students Seeking Second Bachelor’s Degree

A student holding a bachelor’s degree from UIW or from another accredited institution may receive a second bachelor’s degree provided that all requirements for the additional major and degree, including all prerequisites, are completed.

Degree Requirements For Students Seeking a Second Bachelor’s Degree

* Courses must be completed before enrollment in the Nursing Program

*Dimensions of Wellness Bridge 2 hours
*Introduction to Psychology 3 hours
*Child and Adolescent Development 3 hours
*Adult Development and Aging 3 hours
*Biological Chemistry With Lab 6 hours
*Anatomy & Physiology I and Lab 4 hours
*Anatomy & Physiology II and Lab 4 hours
*Introduction to Microbiology and Lab 4 hours
*Introduction to Nutrition 3 hours
*Computer Literacy (by exam or course)
Statistics 3 hours
Community Service (non-credit) 45 hours

Applicants for admission to the Nursing Program must first have been accepted
for admission to the University.

Application deadlines:

February 1 for Fall admission
September 1 for Spring admission
