Community Matters Initiative


The aim of this initiative is to facilitate and improve graduate student engagement through collaborating with communities, from local to global, within and outside the university.

 

Mission Continues Initiative


 The aim of this initiative is to improve the experiences of graduate students through planning and implementing activities that focus on the UIW Mission.

Mission Academy

Mission academyMission Academy is designed for faculty members exploring ways to integrate the Mission of the University of the Incarnate Word and to discussshare and learn the best practices across disciplines. This year’s focus of the Mission Academy is Catholic Social Teaching and Social Justice.

 

 

 

Globalization for Peace Initiative


 The aim of this initiative is to address the challenges confronting the world by finding collective solutions that promote and facilitate peace—through internationalization of the curriculum and of related learning outcomes, through affirming intentionality in international student engagement, and through creating opportunities for discussion with graduate student population at UIW.
