Welcome, Class of 2021!
Congratulations on joining the UIW Cardinal family!
Our one-day orientation program is designed to ensure your success at UIW. You will
have the opportunity to participate in sessions which will familiarize you with our
campus and help prepare you for classes at UIW. The program includes advising, registration,
academic sessions and many more informative events.
Orientation is required for first-time freshmen and will take place from approximately 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Parents & Families
Parents are welcomed to attend orientation with their student. Please keep in mind,
there will be a $10.00 fee per parent or family member attending orientation. This fee is payable during the orientation check-in process. Due to safety regulations
and fire codes, we respectfully ask that you limit the number of guests accompanying
you to orientation to two guests per student.
STEPS TO COMPLETE BEFORE ORIENTATION:
- Submit your confirmation fee (matriculation).
- In March of 2017 the prescheduling questionnaire will be available, please check back
to fill out and submit your questionnaire.
- Submit your health and meningitis records to UIW Health Services.

- Optional: If you selected a date when registering for orientation and would like to
change it, you may submit your change of date request to email@example.com or by calling (210) 829-3931.
- Requests will be reviewed within 48-72 hours. Not all requests will be granted due
to space limitations. If your request has been successfully processed, you will receive
a confirmation email with your new orientation date.
