As the faculty and staff of the proposed UIW PA Program continue developing an innovative
program, our mission remains to educate competent physician assistants and implement
life-long learning, critical thinking, and self-actualization of personal responsibility
in creating diverse, socially accountable communities.
We recognize that recruiting motivated students is an essential step in developing this program. Currently, we remain in the preliminary stages of seeking accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). We anticipate accepting applications during the 2018-2019 admission cycle. As we get closer to the anticipated date, we will provide updated information on the website. This will include prerequisite coursework and other admissions requirements.
We would like to encourage you to continue exploring avenues to strengthen your application for acceptance to the proposed UIW PA Program. This includes taking advance science courses and gaining extensive healthcare professional experience. We invite you to consider UIW’s new Master of Biomedical Science (MBS) Program opening 2016 as an option to help achieve these goals. The program is intended for students who need to bolster their competitiveness for medical school, physician assistant studies, and other related health professions.
Thank you again for your interest. If you have questions or need additional information regarding the proposed UIW PA Program or the MBS Program please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
