Dr. Montfort joins the Feik School of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.

Dr. Montfort received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2002.  She then graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2006.  She continued her training and completed a Specialty residency in Primary Care at the Providence, Rhode Island Veterans Affairs Medical Center followed by a PGY2 residency in Primary Care at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in San Antonio, Texas.    

Dr. Montfort is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).  Her areas of interest include dyslipidemia and diabetes.
