Welcome, Class of 2016!
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you into the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy family. I congratulate you on your acceptance and encourage you to take full advantage of the resources of the University, including the nationally and internationally recognized faculty. These are exciting times in the School and profession and we know that you will contribute to that excitement through your presence and hard work as a future healthcare professional. The faculty and staff join me in wishing you well during this academic year.
Sincerely,
Kevin Lord, Ph.D.

Getting to Know FSOP
Virtual Tour the campus and FSOP
We invite you to take a virtual tour of the Feik School of Pharmacy and the UIW campus via the state-of-the art social medium of Second Life (www.secondlife.com). The University of the Incarnate Word has joined 100s of universities worldwide in creating a virtual presence in this quasi-3D, international virtual world in the form of a 16 acre island named “UIW Cardinal.” When you visit the island you will see representations of the Feik School of Pharmacy and many of the buildings on the physical campus, all set in a fanciful environment.
By exploring our campus in Second Life you can get a jump on orientation in August by becoming familiar with the look of the building and the location of key offices and facilities in the Feik School of Pharmacy and around campus, by meeting key personnel who can answer your questions, and by having an opportunity to meet some of your fellow students in the Class of 2016. You will also gain experience in this convergent medium that is used for meetings, classes, research, and social events by universities, organizations, and businesses throughout the world.
