Dr. Rebecca L. Owens joins the Feik School of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.  She attended the University of Texas at Austin and received her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2007 and her Master of Science in Pharmacy in 2009.  She also completed a two-year specialty residency in pharmacotherapy through the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.  

Dr. Owens is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).  She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and her areas of interest include critical care and infectious disease.
