Dr. Varghese Gupta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Prior to joining FSOP as a faculty, she was a Research Fellow in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her postdoctoral work was focused on developing orally absorbed prodrugs of poorly absorbed anti-viral agents.
Dr.Varghese Gupta’s research interests include utilization of endogenous transporters to achieve enhanced oral absorption and targeting as well as exploring new targets for anti-influenza therapy.
Dr. Varghese Gupta is a member of American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) and American Chemical Society (ACS)
