Congratulations Class of 2017! You are nearing the end of your academic career with the School of Physical Therapy. To make the process of applying for graduation (completion of degree requirements) and preparing for commencement (the ceremony celebrating your success) go smoothly, please review information provided by the Registrar’s Office at the following link and as provided by Cardinal mail. http://www.uiw.edu/registrar/Graduation.html Please note that our commencement ceremony will be shared with the School of Optometry.

January 13, 2017

 

Site open for ordering regalia, announcements, and/or ring for commencement. Regalia ordered through this site is rental only and must be returned following the ceremony. If you wish to purchase regalia, see a Bookstore representative.

 

You will need to provide your height, weight, and cap size (measure the circumference of the head one inch above the ears).

To order your regalia:

1. Under "Select an option," click on Doctor of Physical Therapy.

2. Click on the green Cap & Gown button at the top of the page.

3. Complete the information as requested. You will need your height, weight and cap size (measure the circumference of your head one inch above the ears). This is for rental purposes only. If you wish to purchase your regalia, contact a member of the university bookstore.

To order announcements, ring, or diploma frame, follow Step 2 above by clicking on the appropriate green tab for the item you wish to order.

January 20, 2017

DEADLINE -  Last day to apply for graduation with an administrative fee

Information will be provided by the Registrar’s Office by email on how to apply.

DEADLINE - Statement of Intent Form must be returned to the Registrar's Office.

This form verifies information for your diploma. Details will be provided by the Registrar's Office by email regarding this form.

 March 15, 2017

DEADLINE – Last day to order regalia for commencement.  Announcements can be ordered until 30 days after the ceremony. It takes approximately 4 weeks to process and ship announcements.

 DEADLINE - Return Confirmation of Ceremony Attendance to the Registrar's Office.

This form is to confirm your attendance and to make sure that we have the correct pronunciation of your name. Details will be provided by the Registrar's Office by email.

Pick up regalia, sign up for the Alumni Association, talk to representatives from Financial Aid and Business offices

Hooding and Commencement Ceremony shared with the School of Optometry

4:15pm - Group picture on the steps of the chapel

5:00pm - Robing & Line up (graduates gather at the Kelso Performing Arts Building; faculty and platform party gather at the Agnese-Sosa Living Learning Center)

5:00pm - Convocation Center doors open to family and friends

5:45pm - Procession begins

6:00pm- Ceremony begins in the Convocation Center, UIW Main Campus

Commencement Photography: All students participating in commencement will be photographed. If you are interested in ordering photographs from the ceremony, go to events.lifetouch.com. Photographs will be online approximately 10 days following the ceremony. 

 

Disability Services: If you or your guest require accommodations for a disability, please complete a form at http://www.uiw.edu/ada/ and provide a minimum of one week notice.
