University Resources

Both the School of Physical Therapy and offices on the main campus offer resources to help support and encourage students during their academic journey. A few of these are listed below. Career Services

Both students and alumni are able to access services available through this office. Services include career counseling, resume and cover letter review, and software resources. For additional information, visit their website at http://www.uiw.edu/career/index.html.


Counseling Services

Professional counselors and doctoral interns are available by appointment at the Counseling Services Office located at the main campus. Counseling services are free and confidential. Disability Services

Students who wish to request an accommodation for a disability in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act may do so by contacting the Student Disability Services Office, located on the main campus. Students may have preliminary discussions with this office but will be expected to provide appropriate documentation of his or her disability prior to any accommodations being granted. Faith/Spiritual Development Services

The Oasis Room, a quiet place to pray or meditate, is located in the West Atrium of the School of Physical Therapy. In addition, Sr. Luz Romay, a representative of the University Mission and Ministry Office, is available on a part-time basis for personal discussions. Students are always welcome to participate in worship ministry and other events offered by the Campus Ministry Office, located on the main campus. Such services include retreats, Bible study, and community service opportunities.
