An official transcript is the reproduction of a complete, unabridged permanent academic record validated with the university seal, facsimile signature of the registrar, and date of issue. A key to the transcript is included, which contains a full statement of pertinent definitions.

The University reserves the right to withhold transcripts for those students who have
not met all conditions for admission or who have outstanding financial obligations.
You must check your holds on Banner Web prior to placing the request.
Types of holds that can be put on your account: Student account holds, Loan Office holds, Registrar's Office holds, etc. If a hold is on your account, you will receive an email indicating for which department and the name and contact information of the person you will need to contact to resolve the issue. If you do not contact the appropriate office to resolve your hold, you have 14 days to clear the issue. After the 14 days the request will be updated to a "Freeze" status. This status will result in the forfeiture the $3 vendor service charge(s).
Types of Transcripts:
Electronic delivery: a link is emailed and the receive will "log in" to retrieve the actual transcript.
Transcripts can be emailed via eScrip-Safe to individuals, companies, or institutions. To see a list of institutions we can send email transcripts to, view the eScrip-Safe Network Member list at www.scrip-safe.com. Transcripts sent to network member institutions are considered official. Students are responsible for verifying transcripts emailed to NON-member institutions will be accepted. Forwarded electronic transcripts can NOT be authenticated by UIW or eScrip-Safe.
US Postal Copy-paper copy mailed to address provided when order is placed.
Transcripts sent by US mail directly to institutions and/or businesses are sent as 'Official' transcripts. Students are responsible for ensuring the receiver will accept 'Issued to Student' transcripts provided in sealed envelopes.
In an effort to provide records more securely and protect the privacy of our students’ records, the Registrar’s Office will send Official transcripts via a secure electronic server in lieu of fax transcripts.
Hold for Grades-does not process until the current semester grades are posted and confirmed for the FULL term (will show end date for the current semester)
Hold for Degree-does not process until degree is posted (Thirty to forty-five days after the last day of the semester for the FULL term)
Once the future date is reached, your order will automatically be sent to us for processing.

Download and complete the request form in its entirety. Federal law prohibits using an email request for official purposes. We strongly recommend that you provide a contact name to whom we should send your transcript as this will expedite the delivery of the transcript to the appropriate person.You may download the form and mail, fax, or bring it to the Registrar's Office. You may also scan the signed document and send it by email attachment to the Registrar's Office. Please note: we will not process your request without your signature on the document.

10 transcripts per week. Requests beyond 10 transcripts per week will be charged $5.00 per transcript, payable in advance.
Same-day-service means we will process your request on the day that we receive the request, as permitted . Same-day-service processing may not be available during peak periods such as during registration. There is a charge of $10.00 for same-day-service transcripts.
What is Transcripts on Demand™?
Credentials eSCRIP-SAFE® is designated as this school’s trusted agent for collecting and managing transcript orders using the web. The actual fulfillment (creation of the transcript) and delivery of the order are completed by the school. Transcripts on Demand™ is the name of the official transcript ordering service.
Is the transcript I order through Transcripts on Demand™ considered 'official?’
Yes! Ordering transcripts through Transcripts on Demand™ does not determine whether a transcript is official or not official. The status of the transcript is determined by the sending school’s policies and is the same as a transcript requested via mail or in person.
What if I do not want to use the Transcripts on Demand™ service?
To request official transcripts through Banner Web please complete the following:

* Select 'Request Printed/Official Transcript'

If you have documents that must accompany your official transcript, email them in pdf format to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Documents must be emailed the same date your request is submitted and must include your student ID.

What if I want to view and print my unofficial transcript?
Students can view and print their unofficial UIW transcript in Banner Student Self-Service. The unofficial transcript includes ALL courses taken at UIW.

Is my signature required to order a transcript?
Your signature is required for all transcript orders. For the written signature, you will be directed to the Transcripts on Demand™ web site ((https://iwantmytranscript.com/uiwtx) and you will be required to complete and sign a Consent Form the first time you use this service.
Why is my signature required?
Federal legislation, referred to as The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), provides specific requirements controlling the release of academic transcripts. FERPA requires that the student personally authorizes the release of his/her transcript to a third party.
Can anyone sign the consent form on my behalf?
No, you must personally authorize the release of your transcript by written or electronic signature.
What happens if I do not return the signed Consent Form?
A signed Consent Form is required or your order will not be processed.
What if I need a form delivered with my transcript?
Transcripts on Demand™ supports the uploading of up to five PDF documents. You can upload PDF documents while you are placing your transcript order.
Can I request transcripts through the online system and then pick them up later in person?
No, you cannot submit a request to pick up transcripts via the online system. Transcripts in person are only available for those who do same day processing.
What is same day service?
Same-day-service means we will process your request on the spot. Same-day-service
processing may not be available during peak periods such as during registration. There
is a charge of $10.00 for same-day-service transcripts. This is the only option available
for pick up.
What if I have a hold placed on my student account?
If you have a hold on your student account you should take the appropriate steps to remove the hold. Once the hold has been removed from your account, you will be able to place your request for transcripts. If you place an order, pay the NON-REFUNDABLE vendor fee and a hold exists, your order will be canceled.
How much does it cost to order a transcript?
Students will pay a $3.00 NON-REFUNDABLE convenience fee for each request submitted.
How do I make payment for my transcript order?
You will be required to make payment at the time of order with either a MasterCard, Visa, Discover or American Express debit or credit card. For security purposes, please enter the exact billing address (where your bank sends your credit card statements) and the credit card security code.
Is it safe to enter my credit card information on this Web site?
Yes. Transcripts on Demand™ utilizes the most current security techniques to keep your personal information and identity secure.
What is electronic transcript delivery?
Your transcript is sent as a secure PDF document through the Credentials eSCRIP-SAFE® Global Electronic Transcript Delivery Network.
How long will it take for my order to be received by the sending school?
This is contingent upon the receipt of your required consent form. Once we receive your signed consent form, your order will processed as quickly as possible. Turnaround times are slower in times of high volume such as the beginning and ending of a term. Changes in the ordering status are emailed to you.
How can I check the current status of my transcript order?
You may check the status of your transcript order by returning to the sign-on process you used to access Transcripts on Demand™ (https://iwantmytranscript.com/uiwtx)
How long will it take for my transcript to be delivered?
If your recipient supports electronic transcript delivery, your transcript will be delivered immediately upon processing your request. Actual delivery time for transcripts sent by U. S. first class mail is at the discretion of the carrier.
What should I do if my transcript has not been received?
If your transcript was delivered electronically and you received notification of receipt, contact the receiver. If your transcript was mailed by U.S. first class mail, please ensure sufficient time for delivery. If your transcript needs to be re-ordered, you will need to submit a new transcript order with payment.
What is the importance of my email address?
The Transcripts on Demand™ service utilizes email to provide you with important messages related to your transcript order. To ensure that you receive these messages please add email@example.com to the safe list or white list in your email application.
What if I need to make a change of address to my recipient information?
You will need to place a new order.
Must I use a specific Web browser to use the Transcripts on Demand™ service?
There are sometimes differences in the manner a particular Web browser works with a specific Web application. Transcripts on Demand™ is specifically engineered to work with Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. It is recommended that you use the current release of your browser.
