Dr. Fike works in support of faculty and student research projects assisting with development and analysis of statistical data; designs and delivers statistical training workshops including the use of relevant software such as SPSS; individually provides professional consulting services to faculty and students addressing issues such as quantitative research design, sample size and data considerations to support targeted modeling and hypothesis testing; utilizes statistical testing and modeling techniques to analyze research data; advises faculty and students on the preparation of analysis results for journal articles, conference presentations and various research activities; advises faculty and graduate students on the application of statistical methods in applied and empirical research; and assists in the management and administration of research data sets.

Ms. Ohnemus assists principal investigators (PIs) in the implementation of their projects to ensure obligations are met per the requirements set out in their respective implementation plans; assists in interpretation of and compliance with all reporting requirements related to extramural funding; tracks the progress of all extramural research projects; assists in the development and implementation of pre- and post-award management, proposal identification, and grant writing development activities; disseminates funding opportunities and current information regarding sponsor requirements, federal policies, and national best-practices; collaborates with university officials to enhance relationships with funding agencies; assists the preparation of multiple investigator and program training grant proposals; provides expert writing, editorial and technical assistance to community members in the development of extramural research and training proposals; and assists in the organization of quality circle reviews for community member extramural funding proposals.
