APhA-ASP/SNPhA aids in the development of student pharmacists as leaders in our profession and in the community by reaffirming the need for integrity and responsibility to our patients as health care providers and as individuals.

Fashion Society
If you are interested in clothing design and the apparel industry, check into the Fashion Society. Members focus on the fast-paced world of design, textiles, marketing, merchandising and advertising. A major highlight of the group's activities is the annual Fiesta Fashion Show which draws interest from throughout the San Antonio area.

KUIW Radio Station
The KUIW webcast originates from the Communication Arts department on campus. The Internet radio station is run by students and volunteers from all departments. Students work in all aspects of the radio business including management, engineering, advertising, promotions, production, on-air talent, and web design.

Music Therapy Student Association
Those interested in the field of music therapy participate in this active group. Members learn more about the field by participating in regional and national student associations and local music therapy events.

Phi Alpha Delta (Pre-Law Society)
PAD is the world's largest co-ed fraternity for pre-law students. The group provides opportunities for exploration of the law profession. Members receive guidance in choosing and planning for law school, and annual scholarships are available for LSAT preparation. Members also volunteer their time together in the community.

Pre-Health Professions Society
Are you interested in entering the health professions fields? This group aims to make its members more competitive in the application and interview process for health related schools. Self-development opportunities are available through a variety of programs including speakers, workshops and internships in the health field and through volunteer positions in medical and community agencies. Tours of medical schools are planned each year.

Pre-Pharmacy Association (The Remedies)
The mission of the pre-pharmacy association shall include but not be limited to functioning as a social, academic, and informative support system to all pre-pharmacy students, while learning about the pharmacy profession and its operation in society.  This will be accomplished while fostering fellowship and goodwill among pre-pharmacy students, pharmacy students, and educators in the Christian manner instilled through the University of the Incarnate Word. Student Dietetic Association
The Student Dietetic Association aims to broaden student experience and stimulate further interest in nutrition and related fields through various activities. They also provide opportunities to become familiar with the local, state and national chapters of the American Dietetic Association.

SNA promotes programs representative of professional interests and concerns in the field of nursing. Members have access to local employment opportunities and attend state and national conventions. They also participate in community service learning projects.
