How Do I Join and What are the Requirements?
Events & Activities: The Society hosts Information Meetings to learn about the Society at the beginning of the semester. The Broadcasts/Videos are shown on a monthly basis and all UIW students are welcome to attend broadcasts or tape viewings regardless of membership in the National Society. The Success Networking Team (SNT) meetings are scheduled throughout the semester and the Leadership Training Day(s) are held at the end of the fall and spring semesters. All upcoming events and activities listed below and are sent out by email to members of the Society.

Habitat for Humanity Winter Build
Join members of the Society in helping the San Antonio Community! Additional Info: Directions: Please be aware that we are building at the Palo Alto Community on Coconino Dr. (the same street as the fall build) Map: A map is attached; please pass it out to all volunteers in your group. Starting Time: Please plan to arrive by 7:45AM Parking: There will be signs designated for parking; please follow these signs. Sign In: All volunteers must sign in with Volunteer Services. We will be located under the white tents. Please have all waivers filled out before coming to the site. Lunch: All volunteers will be provided lunch. Lunch will be served at either 11:00am or Noon. If you or anyone in your group has special dietary needs please plan to bring your lunch. Ending Time: House construction will begin closing up between 3:00 and 3:30pm. Age Regulations: No one under 14 is allowed on the worksite. All minors (14-17) must bring a waiver filled out and signed by a parent or legal guardian with them. Minors must be under the supervision of either a parent or parent-appointed guardian at all times! |
