AT&T Math, Science, and Engineering Complex

The brand new AT&T Math, Science, and Engineering Complex consists of the newly renovated and renamed Bonilla Science Hall and the new multi million dollar expansion, the AT&T Science Center.

The old, three-story Science Hall, now the Bonilla Science Hall, was completely renovated to hold faculty and administrative offices, eight classrooms with distance learning capability, three interactive conference rooms, lab-classrooms for environmental science and physics, a large interactive lecture hall, two lounges/study areas, as well as an entire floor for math and several brand new facilities including: Lab spaces for engineering courses in material strength, fluids, and electric circuits, a kitchen lab for nutrition courses, a meteorology center with a forecasting computer lab, and a full broadcast lab, and arenovated auditorium to hold 96 people, with network connections at every seat. Built in 1950, this is the first renovation to the original Science Hall.

An addition of 43,600 square feet, the AT&T Science Center, is housed directly north of the old Science Hall. With the addition, the new Math, Science & Engineering center doubles its present size to 86,600 square feet. This five-story addition houses all new Biology and Chemistry laboratories used by students and faculty in instruction and research training and 15 offices for graduate students. This building also has several unique spaces including: extensive research labs for faculty, a research center for water quality and student lounge areas on every floor.
