Richard and Janet Cervera Wellness Center
Built in 1954, the Wellness Center is Incarnate Word's workout, recreational and fitness center. The center has a gymnasium for basketball, 3 indoor racquetball courts, an aerobic workout room, a weight room, men's and women's locker rooms, a hot tub, sauna, and classrooms which house Wellness classes and offices. The center is available for members, faculty, employees and students. Students can use the facility free of charge by showing their student I.D. card.
Dimensions of wellness classes are of strong importance here at UIW. They not only incorporate fitness and education of your physical and mental being, but your spiritual being as well.
