UIW Parent and Family Association
The UIW Parent and Family Association will strive to increase parent involvement in the Mission of the University through two direct measures:
- The Association will help prepare parents for the changes and challenges their student(s) will face in a university setting.
- The Association will encourage involvement from current parents through mentoring, internship opportunities, campus activities and special events.
The UIW Parent and Family Association members are also encouraged to get involved in the recruitment of new students, and participate in Parent and Family Day and other events hosted by the UIW departments of Alumni, Campus Engagement, First Year Engagement, Career Services and Admissions.

Parent Advisory Council
Are you interested in getting more involved with the Parent and Family Association (PFA)? Consider serving on the Parent Advisory Council (PAC). PAC organizes and hosts parent and family events throughout the year, like tailgates and Twilight Tours, and we are always looking for volunteers. Email parents@uiwtx.edu to learn more.

PFA Final Exam Care Packages

Date: May 4, 2025 | 12 - 2 p.m., Mass optional at 11 a.m.
Your student is wrapping up their semester at the Nest. As they prepare for final exams, treat them to a little surprise! Show them your support for their achievements by putting together a small Final Exam Care Package to get them through their study time. The event will begin at 12 p.m. Families are encouraged to attend UIW Mass in Our Lady’s Chapel at 11 a.m. for a special blessing for our Cardinals.
