UIW-Strasbourg was developed through a partnership between UIW and CEPA Europe. At UIW-Strasbourg, students take courses at the center itself and can choose to take courses at UIW Sister School, the University of Strasbourg too.
All courses are taught in English and credits are issued by UIW, so students can work toward graduation while experiencing French and European culture. Subject areas include international relations, EU Studies, and French/German language courses.
Welcome to UIW-Strasbourg
Welcome to the Château
Why live in the dorms when you can live in a castle? During the semester program, you can choose to live at the European Study Center housed at the Château de Pourtalès, a 250-year-old castle nestled in a beautiful park near EU institutions and Strasbourg city center. Homestay and student housing options are also available.
Courses are taught in English or French for students with sufficient language skills. Courses offered in the semester cover subjects such as political science, European Union studies, economics, business, public management, international relations, European history and culture, elementary/advanced courses in French language.
Many wonderful opportunities to learn more about Europe and the European Union beyond books and the classroom are included during the semester. Once in a lifetime experiences include trips to important historical, cultural, and political sites in and around the beautiful city of Strasbourg as well as Germany, and Belgium.
