Accelerated Communication Arts Program
The Department of Communication Arts at UIW offers an accelerated bachelor's to master's (ABM) degree plan where you can earn both your B.A. and M.A. in as few as five years. From TV or film production, journalism, public relations, news or sports broadcasting, creative publishing, corporate communications and many more exciting careers, students have a vast amount of job opportunities upon graduating from the Communication Arts program at UIW.
Accelerated Bachelor's to Master's Degree Program
The ABM degree program in Communication Arts is a streamlined program that enables students to earn both a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and a Master of Arts in Communication Arts degree in as few as five years. Students enrolled in this 151-hour degree program can expect hands-on courses that move them to broaden their theoretical understanding, technical skills, creativity and ability to think critically.
Throughout their study, students will find many courses designed to further develop their media fluency and their ability to produce content for multiple platforms.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 4 percent job growth rate over the next several years and a high median pay rate – great news for students pursuing the Media and Communications field of study.
