All Souls Day Masses - UIW San Antonio
Two special All Souls Day Masses will be held at our Our Lady's Chapel. The morning Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on November 2. The evening Mass will be later that day at 8 p.m. Hot chocolate and pan de muerto will be served after the evening Mass.
Ofrenda in front of Our Lady’s Chapel – UIW San Antonio
Visit the UIW Mission and Ministry ofrenda at the Columkillle Administration building. You will find it near the Admin main entrance in the foyer of Our Lady’s Chapel from October 23rd through November 2nd. No registration is necessary to stop and visit. If you want to help set up the ofrenda on the 23rd, click below to register, and don’t forget to bring a picture to commemorate a loved one who has passed. Ofrenda for Peace and Justice at the Mabee Library – UIW San Antonio
DEI is setting up a second ofrenda at the Mabee Library to honor our loved ones who have died. We will also honor the lives of so many brothers and sisters who were victims of hate crimes. Also there will be an educational presentation in the Mabee auditorium and a short prayer service on October 30th from 4:30 to 5:30. This ofrenda will be set up on October 30th and will remain installed through November 8th.
CIW (Mexico City) Día de Muertos Festivities 2024
Multiple activities took place, including campus decorations and an ofrenda set up in the reception lobby, coordinated by the CIW Office of Campus Ministry with the help of students, faculty, and staff. CIW faculty and staff also participated in the CIW Calaveritas poetry contest. A 1,000 Mexican peso gift card was awarded to the author of the winning poem. Submissions follow the traditional “calaverita” format.

All day festivities at Campus Bajío
Campus Bajío in Irapuato will hold festivities all day on October 31! These will include a “catrines” costume contest, Día de Muertos art and altar exhibit, snack shop, theatre and musical performance, ecumenical reflection and more.
