Welcome to the Office of General Counsel at the University of the Incarnate Word.

The Office of General Counsel (“OGC”) has responsibility for all legal matters affecting the University system. Our responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: providing legal counsel to University trustees, faculty, and staff acting in their capacities as representatives of the University; reviewing legal agreements; providing legal counsel on University policies, including those set forth in University handbooks; and hiring and supervising outside counsel.
