The WLC guides UIW undergraduate students in improving their writing skills so that they will be prepared to succeed in writing-intensive college courses and in their careers.
The WLC will support you at any stage of the writing process. You may drop in during our tutoring hours, and you will be assisted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you prefer to know that a tutor will be ready for you at a designated time, or if you have specialized questions (about a particular format or about writing for a specific discipline, for example), we recommend that you set an appointment. We recommend setting appointments for busier times, such as midterms and finals.
UIW undergraduate students can make writing appointments by calling us at 210-283-6326, stopping by AD 206, or emailing us at email@example.com.
Any student who needs assistance with accessing a Student Success office during regular office hours: please contact Michelle Beasley at 210-829-3997 or Sandy McMakin at 210-805-3005.
