Women's Awareness

In Spring 2024, students in Dr. LuElla D’Amico’s Catholic Women Writers: Sinners, Saints, and Mystics class have been reading literature from women writers dating from the medieval period to the present. Throughout the semester, they have also been composing their own spiritual autobiographies.

As part of a Women’s History Month project, they transformed their written journals into “digital spiritual autobiographies.” Inspired by writers such as St. Thérèse of Lisieux and Dorothy Day, this website is a digital repository of University of the Incarnate Word students’ spiritual journeys during this timeframe.

Below, you will find links to their websites, blogs, and/or videos. We hope you are inspired by the authenticity and creativity in each of the unique autobiographies the students created.
