How To Apply
Applying to UIW-Strasbourg to attend for a semester or a summer program is easy!
Follow these four simple steps. If you have any questions during the application process, please contact UIW's Study Abroad and Exchange Coordinator via phone (210) 805-5709 or email at studyabroad@uiwtx.edu.
Step 1 – Passport
Do you have your passport? If you already have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date – it must be valid for at least three months after the date you return home. For U.S. citizens, visit the U.S. Department of State - Bureau of Consular Affairs website for instructions on applying for a U.S. passport or renewing your U.S. passport.
Step 2 – Meet the Study Abroad and Exchange Coordinator
Go over the steps and documents required for you to study at the center.
Step 3 – Meet with your Academic Advisor
Review your degree plan to determine what courses you will need to take abroad. Take into account whether you will need to fulfill course or major requirements. Please note that it is YOUR responsibility to verify the transferability of credits earned.
