TRIO Student Support Services is a federally funded program that provides support to first-generation students that are eligible. Members and their families celebrtated the inaugural "Family Night Out" this year. Students presented, “Top 10 things that you want your parents to know” based on their student experiences and the challenges first-generation can face in college. Topics included academic progress, stress, off campus work, finances, and family obligations. Parents had the opportunity to engage with students and staff.
