Cardinals Anticipate Opening of Starbucks on UIW’s Broadway Campus

Cardinals who attend class on UIW’s Broadway campus are in for a caffeinated treat this fall. Construction on the University’s new Starbucks Café is well underway! Smartly situated on the beautiful Broadway campus’s main level of the Student Engagement Center (SEC), adjacent to the dining hall, this $825,000 project is expected to be completed in late August. Spurred by student interest and leadership visioning, Cardinals will soon be able to enjoy all their favorite Starbucks beverages while relaxing with friends or taking a study break in the modern SEC Starbucks Café.

News of the project was met with enthusiasm by current and former students. In an announcement made on the University’s social media pages, Cardinals and alumni shared their excitement and commented on the positive advancements being made to campus.

“Wow!” shared one alumna. “Things certainly have changed since 1991! Looks great!”
