Rally for UIW
It's time to Rally for UIW! This Homecoming week, join us to help UIW student-athletes become champions in the classroom, in the community and in competition. From Monday, Oct. 31, through Saturday, Nov. 5, Cardinal fans will rally together to support UIW Athletics and the programs that help student-athletes become the leaders they were meant to be.
“We work hard to help our student-athletes become champions in the classroom, in the community and in competition, and we have seen a lot of success over the last year,” said Athletic Director Richard Duran. “Our student-athletes achieved the department's highest GPA in Division I history, while contributing more than 6,500 service hours back to our community. We also celebrated six conference championships, another program record. I’m excited for what the future holds for UIW Athletics and our student-athletes.”
“Our student-athletes continue to be outstanding representatives and ambassadors for UIW and its Mission," added Dr. Brian Scislo, senior director of development for special projects. "Much of this would not be possible without the generous support of our loyal alumni and friends. Through that continued support, we are able to provide a student-athlete experience that prepares the next generation of leaders who will make a difference within our global community.”
