UIW Celebrates Commencement Ceremonies at Mexico Campuses
Last month, the greater UIW community celebrated the newest graduates of Centro Universitario Incarnate Word and Universidad Incarnate Word Campus Bajío in Mexico.
Centro Universitario Incarnate Word, or more commonly referred to as CIW, was established in 2003 and is in the capital of Mexico, Mexico City. The campus celebrated the conferment of degrees to 116 students, all of whom had much to be proud of. Students of the campus’s Nutrition, Marketing and Administration and Finance programs who represented UIW in the ANFECA (a national association of higher education institutions in Mexico) National Entrepreneurial Expo were ranked among the top seven projects nationally in their competition category. CIW Marketing students also won the Excellence in Creativity recognition of the Totem Award, an honor presented by top advertising agencies in Mexico.
Universidad Incarnate Word Campus Bajío, or more commonly referred to as Campus Bajío, was established in 2015 and is in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. This summer, Campus Bajío graduated 87 students, the majority with degrees in business – 97% of whom had secured employment at the time of graduation, a testament to the global value of a degree from UIW.
Currently, both campuses offer various undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including Business Administration, Psychology, Nutrition and 3D animation to name a few. All degree programs follow the same curriculum and degree requirements as UIW in San Antonio.
The global University community congratulates these outstanding graduates and welcomes each of them to UIW’s family of alumni!
