St. Anthony Catholic High School Introduces New Optional Dual Language Track
New Spanish Language Track Set to Start in Fall 2025
San Antonio – April 24, 2025 – St. Anthony Catholic High School (SACHS) is proud to announce it is introducing a new optional Spanish Dual Language Track in the Fall of 2025. The new added option is not just about learning Spanish, it is meant to be a pathway to building communication skills and cultural competency, all while gaining a global edge for top careers in San Antonio and internationally.
For those who choose to take part, the new Spanish Dual Language Track allows qualifying students to explore advanced coursework in Spanish and earn college dual credit. The program is just the latest offering that makes St. Anthony Catholic High School such a unique place for young men and women to grow and learn. SACHS will continue to offer its traditional English language robust core curriculum that prepares students for college and beyond. The school also offers 15 academic and social clubs, 14 different varsity sports, and the opportunity to earn dual college credit from the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) while attending some classes on the historic UIW Broadway campus.
“This is an exciting time for St. Anthony Catholic High School,” says Patricia Ramirez, principal at St. Anthony Catholic High School. “We will proudly be the only current Catholic high school with a Spanish dual language track option in the nation. Our dual language students will have the bilingual advantage to compete at the professional level and serve in a multicultural environment.”
