Editing and Approvals
The University of the Incarnate Word's Office of Communications and Brand Marketing ensures that all public-facing communication distributed on behalf of a UIW department, office or school aligns with the University's Mission, values and brand. With this in mind, the office has established guidelines for employees who request editing and approvals on written work, public-facing flyers, promotions, articles and other communications pieces that will be shared with both internal and external audiences.
It is important to note that the Office of Communications and Brand Marketing reserves the right to edit any public-facing communication distributed on behalf of a UIW department, office or school. Additionally, the office reserves the right to deny approval if edits are not made to ensure that all communication aligns with UIW's brand standards.
By adhering to these guidelines, UIW ensures that all communication is clear, consistent and aligned with the University's Mission and values, while also maintaining a unified brand identity.
