A goal of the Office of Communications and Brand Marketing is to equip UIW employees with the skills and knowledge they need to effectively communicate with their target audiences while protecting the integrity of the University’s brand. The following training sessions are available to all UIW employees by appointment.
Media training covers everything from preparing for an interview to delivering key messages and handling tough questions. Mock interviews are also conducted. This training is essential for anyone who may be called upon to represent the University in the media.

The Office of Communications and Brand Marketing offers training to help employees navigate the complex world of licensing and trademark guidelines. This training provides an overview of UIW's licensing program, as well as guidance on how to properly use the University's logos and trademarks in marketing materials and merchandise. This training will also cover the proper process for ordering licensed merchandise.
