Dr. Aubrey Breithaupt is a licensed developmental optometrist and Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD). After receiving her doctorate in optometry as valedictorian from the Michigan College of Optometry in 2014, she completed a one-year residency at Wow Vision Therapy in St. Joseph, Michigan where she specialized in developmental optometry, pediatrics, and vision therapy and rehabilitation. In 2014, she received the Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy from COVD and a Certificate of Commendation from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) for achieving the highest score of her class on the NBEO board examination for optometric licensure. During her time at the Michigan College of Optometry, Dr. Breithaupt served as the Chapter President of Beta Sigma Kappa, a national optometry honors society. She also participated in a mission trip to Mexico with the Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH) to provide local access to eye care for underprivileged children and families. Throughout the course of her studies, Dr. Breithaupt completed clinical rotations with emphasis in vision therapy and rehabilitation, pediatrics, developmental optometry, traumatic brain injury, ocular health, contact lenses and primary care. She is excited to share her passion and excitement for the field of optometry and vision development.
