Dr. Lucretia M. Fraga is an Associate Professor at the University of the Incarnate Word. She specializes in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and innovative pedagogical approaches into education, with a focus on AI’s impact on instructional design and preservice teacher preparation. Over the past few years, her research has led to numerous publications and presentations at prestigious conferences such as SITE, ISTE, and EAAI. Dr. Fraga serves as Co-Chair of the SITE Teaching & Learning with Emerging Technologies SIG and was recognized as a 2023 Faculty Fellow for ISTE’s AI Explorations program. Her work is shaping the future of education, equipping educators and preservice teachers with the tools to thrive in a technology-driven world. She is also actively involved in mentoring faculty and leading AI-focused initiatives at UIW, where she co-chairs the AI Fellowship, contributing to the university’s commitment to technological advancement in education.
