Sara Peters, MA, LPC, ATR-BC, is a multimedia artist, Board Certified Art Therapist, and Licensed Professional Counselor. She is the founder and Clinical Director of San Antonio Art Therapy, offering outpatient services, consultation, and education. With experience in medical, behavioral health, educational, and community settings, Sara regularly trains counselors on the therapeutic benefits of art. She also consults on socially engaged art programming and helped establish the Old School Makerspace. A San Antonio native, her family’s deep connection to farming and nature conservation influences her artwork, which explores meaning-making, spirituality, and liminality. Sara's work is exhibited locally and held in private collections.
