Zackery Wilson is a composer and pianist whose compositions include a wide range of traditional classical and popular musical traditions. Equally at home on the concert stage and at the video game console, his concert works have been performed by the Miró Quartet, the Sarasvati Trio, and the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra; his works composed for exhibitions and sound installations have been featured by Intel, America’s Got Talent, and Nokia. His compositions have received numerous awards, including the Templeton Symposium Competition Award, the International Composers’ Competition Festival Award, and he has been a multi-time finalist in the ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award Competition. Dr. Wilson received a Bachelor of Music in Composition from West Virginia University and a Master’s and DMA in Composition from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently teaches composition at The University of the Incarnate Word.
